29 days to go...i feel yuck

Wednesday, December 02, 2009

I knew it was too good to be true. How could I possibly expect to make it through the first half of the school year without even a real cold? I said the other day that Erica and I had beat the colds...I must not have knocked on real wood cause 2 days later we are both sick. My nose is so stuffed up and I am coughing up stuff. Athen said the baby probably woke up so much last night from my extremely loud snoring. I couldnt breathe through my nose though. And poor Erica is not any better. Of course when you are little and sick it is different. She cried all morning until my dad came to pick her up from school. And she was just super fussy. I wish adults could pull that off...cry and fuss and get to go home. lol.

My eating sucked today. I havent been eating carbs but today I did. I was desperate to stay awake. So I figured at least carbs would give me a little boost. know what it did? Made me crave carbs for the rest of the day. It has been awful. Tomorrow is a short day at work so I am hoping that I can get a little rest tomorrow afternoon and I can eat a little healthier. And NO CARBS!! Well, I mean I always have some carbs, but I cannot be eating chips and pop tarts and klondike bars (yeah, that is how it was tonight). Back to salads and tuna and veggies.

Ok, I am gonna attempt to do at least some crunches and squats before I fall over and crash. Talk to you tomorrow.

I hope the cold passes quickly. Remember it is your choice whether you stick to the nutrition plan or not, with or with out a cold. We all get to make choices every day and they can be consistent with our goals or not, and largely that is completely over to us. So be strong and stick to your plan. Thinking of you - Delwyn

I am so sorry that you and Erica are sick!! I hate to have my nose stopped up. It's horrible.

Have some hot tea and chicken soup. It really helps. emoticon
