On my way to my weight loss goal

Today is the first day I begin my weight loss journey. I am currently at 165 lbs and my goal is 130. I am hoping through blogging about my goals it will help me stay on track.

I heard about this website from a friend and I know it will only encourage me to meet my goals. I don't have a crazy goal of losing 10 lbs a week, but only to lose 7 lbs a month. Easy enough, eh? That will put me at 130 lbs by around June of 2010.

Anyone who wants to be part of my journey is more than welcome to come along for the ride!

    Sounds like a reasonable goal. I encourage you to use the nutrition and fitness trackers as well. These really help me. Knowing how many calories I'm eating helps me stay on track. It was a pain at first, but now that I'm used to it, it's not so bad. I have a slower connection and that's all that really takes any extra time. Sometimes I enter food ahead of time just to see what the calories are and that also helps me keep on track.
