Can I just offer some advice to those of you just starting out on your weightloss journey? Take a lot of "before" pictures. Don't be embarrassed like I was. I had my son take this one of me today:
My backside looks so small to me! I wish I would have had the guts to have had him take one of my backside when I was 209 lbs. I would have loved to have put them side by side and compared them. I know I would have seen a huge difference.
I am comfortably in a size 16 jeans now. I have tried on a few different brands and 16 is my size! 14 is just around the corner!
I may be going a bit overboard now on the pictures, but oh well! It is so hard for me to see the day to day difference on my body... I mean I still have a big belly and lots of jiggle on the thighs, but when I see my pictures of when I was over 200 and where I am now I can really tell how far I have come. It has been such a motivational tool! Whenever I am feeling down about my weightloss (or lack of, lol) I come on to Spark People and browse my weightloss photos and it really picks me up.
