One thing I have always had is endurance. If I just get off my lazy butt and get going then I know I can go a long distance. Literally.
When I lived in England 2 years ago, I would swim 100 laps in the 25m pool at the hotel I worked at. I did that at least 3 times a week over summer and I just LOVED it. I lost weight and was tanned.
I have been looking for a one piece for next summer. I am going to buy one that is way too small so I can shrink down into it :) Just another goal to go with the 10k in March.
I did a 3 mile walk on the treadmill this morning and 50 minutes of strength training. It felt really good and I'm pretty sure I worked off yesterdays turkey, pumpkin pie etc.
Tomorrow I am getting up early and heading to the gym to do the same before we go to the in-laws for another big family lunch. This time it's German Goulash and I plan on going overboard... ha ha ha.....
