Jingo All The Way! (Gratitude)

Monday, November 23, 2009

Had a great session on my 'mill this morning...kept the incline @ 12 throughout and kicked the speed from 4 to 5 mph halfway...wrapping up with Santana's Woodstock version of "Jingo!" Couldn't resist the pun for my blog title...okay, groan away...! :-)

One of my favorite SparkPeople (ORIGAMIFREAK
) celebrated her birthday today by going to and calculating that through her efforts in reclaiming her health she has given herself the gift of growing EIGHT YEARS YOUNGER! Woo hoo! Be sure to stop by her SparkPage and wish her a happy birthday! And if you don't know her, stop and browse about her AMAZING person!

This all has me thinking again, in this season of Thanksgiving, how all of us here at SparkPeople are giving ourselves and through our support of others, each other such tremendous GIFTS of LIFE and living a SPARKED LIFE! I just wanted to share my gratitude to all of you out there, Chris Downie, all the SparkStaff and fellow members: my SparkFamily...!

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving everyone! :-)

LOL. I looked at your blog title and couldn't fathom what it referred to.

I know of Django Reinhardt, the game Jenga, the term "jingoism," and recall that Jango was Boba Fett's father in the Star Wars canon, but have never before heard of the song Jingo.

I'm clearly a musical Philistine. hehe

P.S. Right back atcha.
