Thanksgiving is A State of Mind, Not Just One Day A Year

Sunday, November 22, 2009

I'm not a traditionalist. Sometimes I celebrate a designated holiday, and sometimes I just create my own very different day. However, I believe that every day's a holiday. No, I'm not Mary Poppins. But I learned very early in life that today may be my last. And to really make the most of it. And gratitude is part of any holiday. So, even though I will not have a turkey or a big family gathering, my heart will be filled with the awareness of how many things I'm lucky to have, despite tough times. However you choose to celebrate it, I wish all of you a day full of love, laughter and fun. Happy Thanksgiving.
