I cannot believe how many ways I could get myself moving and stay active even when I'm not dancing. In the past I found it hard to workout after cheering season has ended. I only had one workout in my mind and that was cheerdancing. I tried other things to like badminton, taekwondo, yoga, and I also swim. But all of these require either a court or an instructor or I have to go look for a pool and it's not convenient to leave the house just to go to one of these places. It's great to learn that with a jump rope, weights and some books and DVD's I could get a great workout at home in 35 minutes no problem. Now nothing can stop me from getting any form of workout in a day I just need enough time that's all.
