Weekly check in November 20, 2009

Friday, November 20, 2009

I gained back my 3 that I lost. Okay, so that means I am undoubtedly NOT losing my 10 this month. That's okay. Well, I mean it's not okay, but I'm not gonna beat myself over it really. While I started out strong, I have tapered off quite a bit as of late. There have also been some stressors this past week. One being the oldest getting suspended. Another one, a death of said oldest's classmate. Very sad. Then there was the surgery of my "nephew". He was diagnosed with a heart problem so they had to go in and fix that. He's doing great now though. Happy that he's able to run and jump and be a kid now! Moving on..

I did find a notebook that is the 'right' size for me to record weight, diet, exercise, notes, etc. It is a 3 subject 8.6x6.5. I figure in one section I'll keep exercises, treadmill tracker..in another section will be what I've eaten/water intake..also if/what vitamins(?) have been taken. In the third...that one is still up in the air. Probably a condensed version of a journal. I tend to get long winded (if those who have read this haven't noticed already) so keeping my day-to-day down to a few sentences may be a bit difficult. ;)

It's time for me to do something that I thought I wouldn't have to resort too. I will not..absolutely will not...get on the computer until my exercising is done. That means, if it's not done at all one day (at least treadmill will be daily) then I do not get on the computer that day. Email could get pretty. backed. up. But it's a risk I have to take if I want to make my goal. My plan to do extra hard with exercise went out the window. But anyways, that was then, this is now. Sunday is/will be my rest day, however, I will still walk on the treadmill. That's my plan for the week day anyways so that's when I will look and print/copy down my exercises for the week. Then I'll have no excuse to get on the computer before doing my workouts.

That's all for now. Going to hunt down a motivational article. (Yeah, i've been skimping out on that one too)
