I may not be a huge fan of Miley Cyrus, but this song sticks in my mind and makes me think about my journey forwards. There is always going to be an uphill battle for me, I am going to have times I lose. It isn't about how fast I get there, and it isn't about what will happen when I get to the top. It is about what I am doing to get there, it is about me getting healthy and enjoying the life I will have. I am going to keep trying and I will hold my head up high along the journey, no one will ever make me look backwards to where I have been and make me feel like my "climb" is not worth the effort. I am going to enjoy every minute.

Bonnie, you are going to reach it. I believe slow and steady wins the race. I also believe it will be an ongoing battle, it is not a quick fix. We are not on diets, we are on a lifetime quest for a healthier life and body. We need to stop looking for the fastest way to reach our goals. We need to comprehend that we are in this for the long haul although it will be hard work but we realize that we are worth it.
