Knock, seek and ask

Thursday, November 19, 2009

As I've been on this journey I have had to make a lot of changes in my lifestyle. I've learned to eat differently and to track everything so I can see how I am doing calorie and nutrition wise at the end of the day. I've also learned that if we will just look we can find ways to have some things that would not be considered healthy. I've never been one to go to a star bucks and have one of their high calorie drinks, however I have found a coffee shop called spill the beans and I enjoyed my first cup of a flavored coffee. Chocolate to be exact. DOn't panic, I have not fallen off the wagon. They have a sugar free dark chocolate that only added 30 calories to my day. It's not something I will do everyday but it is a opportunity to relax and enjoy without costing me a lot of calories. Not only that but the coffee shop is Christian based and has free wi-fi and is a grate place to come and just relax. Yes I have learned over these last 6 months to reward myself without food which I will continue to do most of the time, but once in a while I will enjoy a chocolate coffee and a time of rest. Have a great day all.

Sugar free dark chocolate sounds good to me just as long as you don't put the sugar and cream in it.

That is such a great reward. As long as keep it as a reward, it will be fine.

Have a great weekend.

Sounds great. I prefer a French Vanilla myself as long as it is fat free. The other problem with coffee shops is they usually have a lot of sweet things to eat. I just avoid them all and make my own coffee.
