A Bad "Bum"

Wednesday, November 18, 2009

Today was like yesterday weather-wise. I am more than a little sick of it.

And if that isn't enough my hip is giving me fits. It's a pain in the butt - literally. I got my steps in but it was not fun!!! I did no extra exercise. Just the bare minimum. Grrr. I ate on plan though.

Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Hope your bum is recovering. Take it easy and treat yourself to a hot bath or something equally relaxing. emoticon

I hear where you are coming from. Being in pain is no fun, especially when you have plans and it prevents you from fulfilling those plans.

It's raining here today too. I was very happy w/sunshine and some clouds yesterday, but I am very grateful that there is no snow or ice yet. That will be here soon enough.

However, I am glad that you were able to eat according to plan.

Here's trusting in Him that you will be feeling much better soon.

Hugs to you! emoticon emoticon emoticon

I'm sorry for your pain and I surely know about dismal weather! We've been lucky the last few years but some years the fog is so thick you could cut it. I get a little depressed without sunshine..but in California, we could use a good rain. Most times it's just enough to dirty your car or misting.. emoticon

Sorry to hear about your hip. That is definitely not fun. I cracked my pelvis in 7th grade and it acts up quite a bit when I am exercising a lot or favoring my knee :0(. Hope it asettles down for you and you fel better soon!

Good for you for following your eating plan. I sympathize about the weather. That's why we moved to Arizona. Just couldn't take the rainy, gloomy, gray days of Washington anymore. And the hips, I've had that problem too. It's no fun. I had both a chiropractor and a podiatrist tell me one leg was shorter than the other. Then an osteopath said no, one hip is rotated forward, and he put it back in place, gently. Now I wear arch supports, and right now I'm pain-free. I hope you feel better soon.

Oh man, I have a bout of sciatica now and then and it hurts more than I can describe!
I hope the pain eases soon. "High-five" for staying on plan!

Im sorry about the aches and the lousy weather. Aches seem to be going around. My left heel has been seizing up on me .. and its my GOOD one. (lol)

Here's to more compliant bodies tomorrow, yes?

Oh, I've had that too and caused by a variety of problems. Hope it goes away soon! If it's caused by a bad muscle, try finding the trigger point and massage it. Good luck!

I know about "bum"mer aches, thanks to a protruding disc (which is now, thankfully, fixed). Be good to yourself, stretch gently and I'll keep trying to send sunshine!
