Lisa - Right specialist. Wide spread uncontrollable so far joint and body pain. Loss of strength and more along with it. The diagnosis is Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome which is untreatable in and of itself. It is a genetic disorder where my body does not produce collagen correctly. My skin, ligaments, tendons, and much much more are affected. Currently we are trying the drugs that work for Fibromyalgia to see if any of them can offer me any relief.

Forgive me for asking a dumb question... But a rheumatologist? Is this for joint pain of some sort, or do I have the wrong specialist?
