Day 10 - Ughhhh food

emoticon emoticon Just returned to normal after an afternoon Thanksgiving Party at work. The conference room table was loaded with items. It was a potluck luncheon with some item purchased and I don't think anything was missing from the table. I did pretty good I must say. I piled my plate with collard greens, string beans and white meat turkey. A spoon of mac n cheese and potato salad (not even a serving spoon full) and celery sticks and carrots. I pinch a roll but didn't finish it. I tasted the banana pudding but it wasn't good enough to sacrifice the calories (not sweet) and I had a girdle buster but a small piece. In comparison to my previous eating habits I think I made some wise choices. I drank water instead of soda so I'm feeling pretty good about this. Small scoops of the worse choices and large scoops of my veggies. Thank you Lord for curbing the appetite because I still had food left on my plate at the end of the feast!!!

Worked out last night for 80 minutes. Will get my workout on tonight as well. 8 more days and I have success in my challenge. I know I can and will do this barring any mishaps with my body. God loves me and I love Him back!!! I couldn't do any of this without His mercy and grace being with me.

    Great job on staying strong during the feast!!! We have ours on friday so I will follow your lead and have small spoons of the bad stuff and lots of veggies. I am in charge of the bringing the veggie platter which is good cause I will probably be the one eating most of it!!
