New Team Leader

Wednesday, November 18, 2009

I'm the new team leader for Eat Fat Lose Fat....here is my intro message to all the members>>

I have taken on the responsibility of leader for the "Eat Fat Lose Fat" Sparks team. My goal is to help spread the word about the amazing healing and nutritional values of coconut oil. I, myself experienced a major transformation in my health and well-being since I added coconut oil to my diet. I found the beneficial effects of coconut oil almost immediate. If you do only one thing to improve your health DO THIS. And it is do-able! It is a natural and relatively inexpensive addition to any diet. More people need to know about this amazing MIRACLE nutrient. Help me spread the word!

    Hi, Thanks for responding!
I buy my coconut oil by the gallon (128 oz.) on line from Netrition ...(http://www.netrition.com/nutiva
_coconut_oil_page.html), it is the best price I have been able to find on Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO)they have a flat shipping rate of $4.95 in the continental U.S. so cost of shipping a gallon is not too bad. They sell other great stuff like coconut flour too. Vitacost is another great resource for VCO at a good price (http://www.vitacost.com/productRes
ults.aspx?ss=1&.x=11&.y=7&Ntk=p
roducts&Ntt=coconut%20oil) they also have a flat rate shipping fee of $4.99 but the largest size they sell is 54 oz. I buy my Carlson Cod Liver Oil soft gels from that site so depending on what I need I have used both sites.

Most health food stores and stores like Whole Foods sell 16 oz containers but you pay a premium, it is how I started because I wanted to try it before I made a big commitment to the larger size. The Wal-Mart in my area also sells Lou Ana brand but I'm pretty sure it is refined and I'm not sure if the refining process removes any of the nutrient qualities. I have tried it (very inexpensive) but I ended up just cooking with it not taking it as a supplement.

On my Sparks page I have a list of links to podcast and articles about VCO, but the best site for basic info is http://www.eatfatlosefat.com/
You can find guidelines here for how to use VCO. I do suggest starting slow to see how well you tolerate it.

And please do come join the team! If I tell 5 people and you tell 5 people and they tell 5 people (etc., etc.) we can heal the world....well maybe just Sparks People!

Welcome, I am not part of that team, but now, I know about it, I could possibly join. Where do you get coconut oil and how much do you add to your diet?

I have not heard of the benefits of coconut oil. I would love more info as to where I can get it. Is it pill or liquid? Will do a search but any info you could pass along would be appreciated. Thanks for the post. Good luck in your position of team leader.
