I've been co-leading the SparkMinneapolis / St. Paul team for almost two years. If you've been on the team long enough you will remember it used to be called the "Twin Cities Sparkers." Being a co-leader was probably one of the best things to happen to me. It helped me really focus in on what motivates people and what motivates myself. I wanted to lead by example so I was sure to be drinking my water, doing my cardio and ST. So I credit being a co-leader to helping me to lose 78 pounds.
Well my husband and I have decided we would like to adopt. So I will have a new family focus. One that will take a lot of my time away from SparkPeople so I announced to the SparkMSP team that I will be resigning as co-leader on December 6, 2009. I'm sure we will have some great folks step up to help co-lead with my awesome co-leaders MINICOOPER452 and DIETJUNKIE2.
I will still be on SparkPeople as much as I can but I'm sure it won't be as often as I'd like. I just want to thank MINICOOPER452 and DIETJUNKIE2 for all they do for the team. And thank all you wonderful Twin Cities folks that I have met either in person at SparkRallies or just chatted with online here. Of course there are also all the wonderful folks I've met outside of Minnesota and from all over the world. This site rocks!
Oh my goodness! Congratulations on your decision to grow your family Max! It has been so great getting to know you and I hope that you will still be able to attend a few rallies now and then (even if you didn't organize it!). I am so happy for you in your success here at spark and I am excited about your big news! You have been a great support to me since I joined spark and I know there are so many others you have touched. Cool website, huh?!?!?!? Take care, and good luck! Allan and I are really looking forward to the Summit tour! Deb :D 2926 days ago
