Going for 7 1/2 months WOW!!!!!

Monday, November 16, 2009

Sorry I haven't been doing much updates. It will be almost 8 months since I started this new great journey in life. I am so happy to have found SparkPeople thanks to my friend Marcia!!! She is amazing and a great inspiration.

Well It's taken me 7 months to lose my 50 lbs. I know I could've lost more, but I have not been as strict with myself as I was at the beggining, and that is not a good thing. But I try really hard to get back on the bandwagon and thanks to that I have reached my half milestonegoal of 50 lbs. I still need to lost 59 more to actually get to my BIG goal! But eventually I will get there.

I have had my ups and downs but I have not let go of that dream to get healthier. But boy do I feel healthier and more active. My self-esteem has gotten way better, I am not intimidated by walking into Scottsdale's Mall and thinking "Look at all this beautiful plasticky woman buying beautiful small clothing" Now I go in thinking "I'm getting there and with NO plastic"! LOL

I love being able to find better fitting clothing and get complimented by my husband how great and healthy I look. I have changed my exercise routine a little and added Turbo Jam and wow is that a work out!!! Hopefully from here to Christmas I reach my 2nd goal which is lose 60 lbs.

I started by using a size 22 and now I'm down to a size 16. Thank God I didnt throw my old post wedding clothing because they have helped a lot. :) hehe

I hope I can keep you guys updated more often. I need to buy myself new work out clothes because the one I have fit big and that is why I haven't taken a picture but once I get new workout clothes I will take a most updated pic.

Hope all of you guys are doing great!

XOXO
