(the green girl got a psychic reading last night at her very first yelp event.

they had a psychic, stephanie, at the event from mar vista psychic. she was doing 'lip balm reading' where you would put on lip stick and then blot it with a tissue. she stared at the blot and gave you your reading.

stephanie put my blotted tissue in her hand. she stared at it for awhile and then looked directly into my eyes. i was surprised by the intensity. she said 'you are very smart. you are even smarter than you think you are.'

then she looked back at the tissue. next, she said that i was going to lose my job in the next few months. she said that i would find a new job in may and it would be a good job. she said that what i'm doing right now in my professional life will prepare me for when i have my own business in 15 years. she said that she knew i was looking for a new position within my current company but it would not happen. she said i will need to look outside my company for a new job and that i would get one in may.

she said i will be really financially stable in three years.

in terms of my personal relationship, she said we are at different points in out lives and we're not moving in the same direction right now. she couldn't say for sure if we were going to work out or not but she said she sees me with my soul mate in september. she said i will get married in a few years and it will be forever - she said i will only get married once.

she said i am in good health but she said i would start taking some vitamins in the next year that will benefit me in ten years.

she asked me if i had any questions and i said i didn't.

the thing is that i am going to lose my job at the end of the year. and i have been trying to find a job at the company where i'm contracting. and i did start taking fish oil and niacin for my high triglyceride management.

there was something about her. i can't put my finger on it. i wonder if she was talking to my spirit guides or if her spirit guides were telling her those things about me.

i talked to some other yelpers and they said her readings for them were really vague and generic. i told them she was dead on with mine.

the universe has been trying to tell me something lately. strange things have been happening to me and then i got this reading.

i'm just not entirely sure what the message is.)
