What would I do without Marshalls or Ross stores? I've gone down three pant sizes since last October, so where else can I get a $40.00 pair of pants for $10? (one pair was $7!)(not irregulars, and name brand) And Playtex bras for $4.50 each? I know that I will continue to go down in size, and I know that buying new clothes won't break the bank. What's funny to me is that, in the past few years when I'd begun gaining weight, it took me awhile to fully wrap my mind around the fact that I had to buy bigger sizes. Now it's just the opposite. I go to the rack with bigger sizes and then remember that I don't need them anymore. I smile each time I do that. This year's hard work has paid off.
Before October 08, when I began this healthier lifestyle, I'd never blogged before. I didn't even know what it was about. I soon realized the many purposes it serves, and yes, blogging has served me well in making all the intangibles around weight loss totally concrete and seeing exactly where I am (and in other ways besides physical). I would have never imagined that cyberfriends could be such wonderful boosts in the process. Every once in awhile, I've taken a blog space to shout-out and thank all who have ever responded and helped me through good times and bad. THANK YOU TONS!
It looks like my forever plateau may be a thing of the past. After making changes to food intake and exercise programs this past two weeks, I am down 2 LBS(!!!) at today's weigh-in. HOORAY, HOORAY!
I've begun starting my day with exercise videos and my workout pals are Princes Harry and William, whose photo is on my page. Their participation consists of laying on the back of that chair with one eye open to watch and wonder what in the world I'm doing! Suffice it to say, I absolutely love those rascals - their purr-sonalities match their looks. And, of course, their eyes are blue even though the camera flashed them like demon eyeballs. (smiling)
Have a wonderful day, friends.
