Unhealthy weekend :(

Sunday, November 15, 2009

So, I decided not to weigh in this morning.

We went to the movies and BD's Mongolian Grill Saturday night. I had one plateful and felt sooo full and sick!! And I fought the urge to eat any Coldstone. Well...last night I fought the urge. Tonight is a whole other story!

I had cinnamon rolls for breakfast this morning and then we ate Long John's for dinner...Then as if I wasnt feeling bloated and guilty enough I had Coldstone. It was a kid's size but one of those has like 750 calories! GEEZ!

Anyway, I didnt do a last chance workout Sat because we went out right after I got off of work and I didnt workout today either. SO, needless to say Im back to it first thing tomorrow!!!

But, you know, even after deciding to eat that dinner Saturday night knowing that Id ruin my weigh in this morning, I stood in the bathroom washing my hands at the movie theater and I looked in the mirror at myself. And what I saw was a thinner, happier me :) I dont usually see a difference in my mirror at home and Im not sure why, but I saw a big difference in that bathroom mirror at the theater and Im very happy about it. I often hear people say I look sooo different but I dont see it or feel it myself (unless in pictures). So, that made my night :) Even tho I proceeded to eat too much today too haha

Anyway, I wanted to confess my eating sins to my SP friends so that I can move on and keep heading towards my goal :) Hope everyone had a healthier weekend than me!! haha

The SP confessional is great! We all have off days but it is what we do the majority of the time that matters and you have been doing great - and seeing some amazing results. Back when we had poor eating habits one healthy day didn't make us skinny or healthy! Don't worry about what the scale says today (saw you peeked) -you know it's just from the salty food and will be gone in no time! BTW you really look great - and are a huge inspiration. Love the newest before/after shots. Have a great week!

You SHOULD see a thinner, happier you! Your before and after pictures are amazing :) We all have off-days, or off-weekends, but you are getting back on track and that's the most important part :) Good luck this week!

i think every one is doing bad because its the change of the seasons our bodies crave more fat. the way to combat this is to get out in the sun when possible you can eat more just pick better choices. weekends are hardest but they are doable. glad you are doing good all around one bad weekend wont mess you up to much. emoticon have a great week.

I love your attitude!!! You are so awesome! You are so right in the thinking of just moving on. No point in dwelling on anything and beating yourself up over it. I am soooo excited and happy that you see a different you in the mirror now. That is wonderful!!! Takes a while for our mind and body to catch up sometimes. Seeing the difference will keep you motivated and on track. You have worked so hard and deserve to feel good about yourself. Yay you!!! I do have a question though. What is a coldstone??? lol Love ya!! xx

I can relate. My boyfriend had the idea to have an unhealthy night last night. We went to McDonalds and I had a Dbl Quarter pounder with cheese and we got a large fries =( About 900 calories at 11:30 at night. I am horribly ashamed, but I know that it is another week and I will do good.

Oh my goodness I can really relate to what your saying. I have had a bit of a mishap weekend too, I ate tons of chocolate on Saturday which made me have a really REALLY bad headache and so I didnt workout and today I ate better but didnt workout again. Sooooo back to it 100% tomorrow like you. At least we are noticing that we are making decisions where as before we would eat like this everyday!
Good luck getting back on track, I know we can do it!!!

Hey, I can totally relate. I had a really bad food weekend.

BUT - with that said, we both truly understand this is a lifestyle change. I don't know about you, but in the past a day of unhealthy eating would just send me into weeks of eating absolute junk.

It is nice to know we can have a bad day (or 2) and then get right back at it. It makes me feel a lot more confident about the upcoming holidays.

I'm glad you see a change - I've said it before but I'll say it again, you look awesome!
