Day #2 at the Gym

Today, I wrote down my strength training rotation so I can enter it here into SP's fitness tracker. In case anyone is curious here it is--

I do three rotations of each of these machines doing 10 reps each set. On each rotation I increase the weight so that is why you'll see three weights listed for each machine.

Seated Leg Press
Weight: 50, 60, 70 pounds

Seated Leg Curl
Weight: 30, 35, 40

Chest Press
Weight: 10, 15, 20

Seated Row
Weight: 25, 40, 55

Reverse Fly
Weight 25, 40, 55

Bicep Curl
Weight 20, 25, 30

Tricep Press
Weight: 50, 60, 70

Abdominal Machine
Weight 30, 40, 50

I almost forgot to stretch today - yikes!! Glad I remembered otherwise tomorrow I would be a hurting unit.

    Holy cow!!! I have a 10 lb lifting restriction on my hands and arms and I can't even imagine lifting 70 lb with any part of my body. I do the leg press on about 30 lbs and only 30 reps. If I went to the gym more regularly I probably could build that up. My legs definitely need more muscle.... emoticon

    I do a few machines but mostly free weights and body weight exercises. I tend to put off the machine ones because of other people working on them so its good to know that you aren't shirking working out!

    Great strength plan!!!! I started getting to the weight room more and I am feeling the difference now. Cardio is good but we can't forget about strength.

    Looks like a good exercise plan, and don't you feel so invigorated after you get done, even if a bit tired. I sure feel good after I've done my strength exercises. How many days a week are you hitting the gym?
