With a Mac use the Command & the letter C to copy. Mac users use the Command & the Letter P. Just slightly different.
Great explanation, Crittermama!

Hubby taught me a good shortcut. #1 Highlight the area you want to cut and paste. To highlight, place cursor with mouse at begining of line, hold left button down and move cursor over everything you want to copy. Let go of left button and the line(s) you fwant should be in blue. #2 Find the control button on your keyboard. It says CTRL and is usually at the bottom left of most keyboards. Press CTRL and the letter C (for copy) at the same time - has to be the same time, not one after the other - and you have copied. #3 Now move your cursor with the mouse to the line or area you want to paste. Hit the CTRL button and the letter P button (for paste) at the same time, just like for copy. It should show up starting where you put your cursor. Note: this does not erase the original line or item you copied. You have to go erase that by highlighting it and hitting delete key. Hope this is understandable and helpful. Lacee, you are awesome!
P.S. this is for a PC - I don't know anything about Macs.
