OK, I am a retired teacher and I have been telling everyone how great it is to have time to exercise and pursue hobbies that have been neglected all these years. It's so great not to have the stress of planning, teaching, correcting papers, dealing with parents, meetings, etc...

I guess I was working hard to convince myself that I didn't miss being in the classroom. I am substituting in my old school tomorrow for 7th grade math. I have been planning my lesson this evening, getting my lunch ready, and laying out my clothes. I am really excited about teaching tomorrow. Of course when the day is over I can just walk out the door and this makes it just about perfect!
