I passed boards with 85 questions

Monday, November 09, 2009

Hello my fellow sparkers. If you have been following my blogs then you know that I just finished nursing school and was preparing for boards. Well I took boards on November 6, 2009 @ 1:30 and was told to expect my results in two business days which led me to believe I would have to wait at least until Wednesday. Both my friend and I that took our boards on the same day were nervous recks after taking said test so we went across the street to a restaurant and had some very bad food and alcohol. But hey its not everyday you take a test that will determine part of your future. We both went home logged into the Pearsonvue site the same day and tried to re-register to take the test, we only did this because we had heard of some "trick" which really isn't a trick to check if you had passed or not. Anyway if the site lets you re-register and go all the way to the credit card page then you most likely didn't pass but if you get a pop up saying you all ready registered and call the board of nursing then chances are you passed. Well we both did this "trick" the first night and we both got the pop-up. Me being me I kept checking I did it on Saturday and Sunday and still got the pop up and finally went I check Sunday evening the option to pay for my quick results came up. So I paid the $7.95 and said a quick prayer before I hit the submit button. Those were the most tense 5 seconds of my life I didn't know how I was going to react if the results said fail but the the results were PASS. This is such a load of of my shoulders the last few days have been a blur to me and honestly my head is still spinning. This is one less thing I have to worry about so now I can start applying to jobs and hopefully become gainfully employed before the end of the year.
