My week ending yesterday...can't wait to hear from the rest of y'all!

I started a new workout regimen last week & suspect my body is adjusting to it. Hopefully next week I'll see a loss.

Two short (3 mi on Horseshoe Springs & 2 mi on Mooney), one long (8 mi trail run @ East Fork)

The high fat can be pinpointed to the Halloween candy I ate last Monday...I'm proud that I tracked every mini candy bar!
7 hours 15 minutes, averaged 1 hr 15 min per day over 6 days exercised
I can maintain this average of 1 hr workout a day. SO doable & I'm feeling so confident & strong! The benefits are well worth the 1 hr a day.

Wonderful past week! The best part? Mark is doing the Insanity workouts w/me. We all know the time it takes to get our workouts completed & often I would have to wait until the evening when the kids were in bed. Now having Mark sweat it out w/me is THE BEST thing about this past week & am hopeful that he'll stay committed to sticking it out w/me b/c I'm 1,000% focused & would love to have him right there w/me...good quality time!
The 2nd best thing about this past week? Colt's speech evaluation. I am so relieved to have an expert understand my initial concerns & to have this resource available to me is EVERYTHING. I just haven't known what to do w/him & how to best help him. This evaluation was a flood of info, tips & encouragement...all things I really needed. Now I'm waiting for their written action plan & look forward to upcoming home visits!
Things to plan for.
Attending Addi's very first school performance this Wed, on Vets Day. She's been humming & singing Lee Greenwood's "Proud to Be an American". I'm already giddy, excited & SOOO proud of her!!
This is our LAST week before we take off for Indiana & Ohio to celebrate Thanksgiving w/family on both sides. SO very excited about this upcoming trip for many reasons:
it'll be the first time we've vacationed for this long (12 days!)
visiting family will provide an opportunity for Mark & I to go out on daily runs together, which he's already on board with!
spending Thanksgiving morning out among hundreds celebrating health & life @ Cincinnati's 100th 10k Turkey Trot (my first Thanksgiving race!)
attending my first college football game (Cincinnati Bearcats vs Illinois) to celebrate my brother's b-day
spending this much time w/our families...always, always, always a positive visit!
trying to keep up w/my nephew on morning runs who is running cross country this year
visits w/my mom-in-law & sis-in-law...AMAZING women in my life who I just adore to pieces
traveling w/Mark; I travel to visit family 90% on my own w/the kiddos (car & plane both), so this is a real treat to be going as a complete family

Tues - Insanity pure cardio
Wed - short run (2-3 miles), Insanity cardio circuit
Thurs - Insanity cardio recovery
Fri - Insanity cardio power & resistance
Sat - long run (6 miles), Insanity pure cardio & abs
Sun - rest
