Katmomma3: Weather Forecaster Extraordinare!

Saturday, November 07, 2009

I've been sensitive to weather fronts ever since moving to areas with weather besides 72 degrees and smoggy. I was raised in Southern California. I lived close to the coast and it was either smoggy or foggy. Very seldom sunshine all day long. But the temperature was mild and the range was moderate.

When I moved to Northern California I started my new talent of feeling the weather fronts. Not fun! And, yes, you can take it to the bank. I'm that sensitive. My clients and friends normally ask me about the next couple of days forecast instead of reading the paper or believing the meteorologists on TV. LOL

So, today I felt something approaching. I did all of my exercise in the morning and went to work. After work I almost fell asleep. Not a good sign. When I got home all I could do is sit, Spark some and watch TV. I also took a nap! I don't nap!!

I wasn't sick, I was still eating and drinking water and didn't have a fever. Then I looked outside--an inversion came into the Valley just after my energy got sucked out of me. No wonder I lost my umph! The first inversion of the season normally takes it's toll on me.

I'm going to bed early and tomorrow I will be recovered after a good 8 hours sleep.

Good night all. This cat is going to bed and conking out fast!

Not to brag, but we've been having some awesome weather here in Kansas and I think it's going to continue thru next week. Love it cuz I can open the windows and doors. Love bringing the outdoors inside when I can.

I certainly can relate, I get a bad ache in my knee when I know its going to snow.
Tomorrow you will be back to normal.

    I can relate to this.
When the barometer falls, I go into an 'umph' mode too.
No energy, lethargic, don't even want to think.
Fortunately it passes. Just have to recognize it, let it take its course, and soon things are back to normal.
All the best.....
