Saturday Nov 7/09:
Working the next 7 shifts in a row - today it was just crazy at work today; almost as if it is a full moon ---and we were short an RPN -so my job was even more hectic...
Started my day off with a protein shake and off to work - no time for a break - but i did take 30 mins for a lunch - even though i was behind on work - "I" needed it and "I" listened to my body and took the time for lunch...ate healthy and back to work...ended working an extra hour to finish my charting...and no pay for the extra hour,,,oh the joys of being a nurse.
Got home from work and "I" knew "I" was stressed out - so "I" ran this thought through my head: do "I" sit home and watch TV and do nothing but ... "I" knew it would lead to overeating.....OR di "I" go to the gym and burn off the stress and excess energy....
well- guess what...."I" made a decision to do what was best for me, not what was easiest.
-"I" went to the gym and did 100 mins on the bike - "I" was reading a great book while exercising on the bike and the time just fly by and "I" was relaxed, reading, and didn't even feel like work.
""I" then did 3 sets of abd exercises and then 'I' did 3 set of leg extension and 3 sets of lying leg curs and did some stretching exercises and then "I" walked home and "I" feel great.
"I" should mention that, i'm still covered in hives, "I" look like something left over from Halloween...ha, ha, but "I" feel good...
Well - i'm catching up on this, my hubby is making me dinner and life is good. Talk with you tomorrow.
