Because of my weight and knee problems I started walking for 5 minutes a day. I am now up to two 15 minute walks...one in the morning and another in the evening. I just did my morning walk and feel GREAT!!! At first I had a hard time just doing the 5 minute walk. A lot has changed since I started this "Journey to Health and Weightloss" and I'm feeling physically and emotionally better. I really noticed the difference when I was out shopping the last couple of weekends. One time at Woodmans my husband and I left our grocery carts to quickely check for something in another part of the store. At one point he turned around to see where I was and was shocked to see that I was practally on his heels (he's 6'6" and I'm 5'6" and he takes BIG steps). I'm looking forward to only feeling better as I walk more and lose more weight.
