but wanted to check in here first.
I've hit my first plateau.
I've been doing everything right since my disastrous hormonal week. I had that water loss day and my weight returned to the preweek low...and then rose again to 175. Not a disaster by any means, but it is a step in the wrong direction in terms of my goal to lose 10% of my body weight and then 10% more. . . and logically I can't understand the whys?
So the good news is, that my first goal equals 18 lbs of weight loss, and I was 1/3 of the way there, and am still almost 1/3 of the way there. PLUS I've been below 180 now for 4 weeks. Except during the cancer treatments and that month after when taking care of my physical me was all I was doing, I've never maintained a weight loss that long. So it is a start.
I am not doing the stairs as often while I watch TV, as the cat has taken to snuggling on my chest as I watch, and I hate to constantly disturb him. So I'll have to limit his stays to one nice long one, and then start doing the stairs again.
This weekend is also supposed to be nice, so even though my feet (and hands unfortunately) are acting up, I'll try to go for walks, even if they are short.
Well, it is time to hit the shower and then have my breakfast.
