Who knows 1?

I know 1!!
I found out yesterday that logging into my SParkpoints has to be for me a #1 priority!!
Instead of starting my day with the Spark, I let other priorities slip in... telling myself I'd get to it later.
Oh, boy.'
Did I get to it later!
2,000 calories later!!
What is it about all those cheesey little platitudes that keep me on track each day?
Why am I incapable of keeping a running tab of calorie counts in my head?
Who knows, who cares.
The 1 thing I know is all that matters.
Spark has to come first.
It has to be my nunber 1 priority.
It has to be the first thing I do each morning.
1 way and no other seems to work for me.

Sometimes I think I am spending too much time on SP, but I do remind myself that my number 1 job is to take care of my health. To do that, it has to be a priority. You are SO right! Without good health we have nothing!

who knows 1, well, yes, now you have confirmed 1 for you! 2000 calories is a maintenance day. Like waiting at an intersection to turn, the car is running fine, you just aren't going forward at the moment. Getting back to the goal work will continue the training. 2000 calories isn't a wreck on the highway -- check left, check right, check left again and proceed!

Thanks for the soup!!

We have to do what it takes and if that means Sparking first thing in the day for you...then you know you must do it. Remind yourself that you are a priority too. Yup, your #1 priority.

    Hi Robyn,
Surprise, surprise!! It has been a while since we have talked to each other here at Spark.

I feel the same way you do, I log in to Spark first thing.

Of course, I am usually up after midnight comes around, so I spin that wheel right off the bat!! I do as much answering SparkMails, commenting on SparkPages, posting on teams and giving goodies as I can at that time as then I can give my wonderful DH more time during the daytime.

As far as the nutrition page and tabulating, I noticed that I did gain weight after I quit checking the foods off on the chart. I need to get back and start doing that again, although I have doing okay lately making healthy choices.

You are doing great, knowing where you are slipping and getting back on track with what works for you. I am so proud of you!!

Have a great day, my friend,

Vicki

Do you input all that you are eating before you eat it or as you go along? Do you pre-plan each day? I have been good at tracking as I go except I stop after lunch (and that's where the calories creep in). With my lack of AF days well I wouldn't even want to fathom trying to count those calories.

With the exam time almost over - going to take Elizabeth's suggestions and make the best of the 54 days left in 2009.

Gotta make them count and boot those pounds to the curb to record my 20lbs loss for the year ... You Robbyn are such an inspiration in this for me! Thanks for being such a great SP Friend!

You are so right Spark has to be a priority. We must take care of ourselves first.
