Saturday, November 07, 2009

I'm eating right, staying within my points, eliminating the vending machine and candy from my daily routine and overall feel healthier and clothes are fitting better...so why won't the scale move??

Have you been taking your measurements? quite often that is where the change is when the scale is frozen.

Sounds like all the signs of changing your fat:muscle ratio. The good news is, muscle burns even more calories, so it's a win:win situation. Even if the scale doesn't show it yet. Keep up the good work.

Hang in there. What counts is that you are feeling GREAT!! The scale will surrender soon.

Hang in there! I have been walking/running 4 miles, 5-6 days per week since early July and I have only lost 8 lbs... so I know how you feel. I use the food tracker, too. I have lost inches and am fitting better into my clothes.... probably more important, anyway. For me, I just keep working and hoping that one of these days, I will get it right.... slower will be better in the long run.emoticon We just have to help each other keep on "keepin'on!

It will eventually show on the scale so keep on track and don't give up.

It is also good to weigh the same day every day.

Hugs, Sunny

Perhaps you are simply building muscle and losing fat. Keep up the hard work and the scale will surrender.

Hello there! I know how you're feeling. I was discouraged about the exact same thing yesterday. Sometimes it just takes a while even though I don't understand why. You're just going to have be thankful that you're feeling better and have more energy and that your clothes are fitting better. Have you been measuring yourself to check your progress. Don't worry about the scale and try to guage your success in other ways. Congratulations on living a more healthy lifestyle.
