According to the long-term Nurses' Health Study, which follows the habits and health of 72,000 female nurses, three hours of brisk walking each week (that's just 30 minutes per day) can lower a woman's risk of heart disease by 30% to 40%.

Hope it works on men too or I've been wasting a whole lot of time. emoticon

    That's great! That's why I think having a dog is good cuz you always have someone depending on you to walk them lol

    LOL, agree now got my walking route as a traveling resthome helper up to around 10 kms daily. In my branch were we visit people in private homes, you also have to be fit or the job is hell..
I wondered why I wore out 4 pairs of shoes yearly... A pedometer cleared up the problem and I love it..
