OK, the dvd came and I couldn't wait to try it out. Bought 3 different workout videos last week. Did the Firm (500 Calorie workout w/ Kelsie Daniels) on Monday. Haven't worked out in over a month so what was I thinking. OMG!!!! Made it through the first 35 minutes and then had to watch the rest of it while I folded clothes. Was thinking to myself. Will I EVER be able to get through this????
So today decided to try the Afro-Brazilian Cardio one (plan to try out all 3 and see which one I want to stick with for a while). Anyways, was really excited to check this one out because I'm really wanting to try the dance workout thing. Initially thought - OK this is gonna be waaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy easier than the Firm workout but I tell you the sistah got to movin the hips and clapping those legs and hoppin around and at 35 minutes I found myself just movin in place. Whipped AGAIN- OMG. I would have been a sight to see trying to do some of those moves she made look so EASY. At one point I cracked up at myself thinking it would be a very LONG time before I would be brave enough to try this one if anyone else is looking. Definitely a private workout for now - LOL.
Oh well, the good news is that I'm on plan with my exercising and staying within my calories for this week so far and for that I am plum happy. Back to the strength training tomorrow and on Friday maybe the 3rd dvd will have arrived (Kukuwa Dance Workout). I let you know until then my hope for you is that you are staying on plan. One day at a time (geeze sometimes one hour at a time, ok minute, ok second-lol)!!!!!
