Consistency & Flexibility - installment #2

Wednesday, November 04, 2009

The power went out at 4:15 or so PM. It didn't come back on until almost 9 PM. I had planned to "eat down the fridge" and make risotto with all the vegs that have been sitting around for a bit - fresh and frozen.

Ah well. We went out for pizza, I had my usual slice of veggie minimal cheese, half slice sausage normal cheese (split with DH, who likes extra cheese). Came home and had the Jello 60 calorie dark chocolate mousse. My total cals for the day were about 1250. Not bad for a pizza day.

So - I was flexible. But I was consistent with my caloric range (even if the sodium went sky high).

And when the power came back on, I finished the work project I had been working on all afternoon (gathering receipts, matching them to the project financial report, making photocopies and stapling them together).

Fell into bed at 10:30 PM. I'm consistently flexible with bedtime - and it never adds up to 8 hrs a night. We're working on that.
