I kinda feel...

Tuesday, November 03, 2009

like giving up...but I know I can't and I shouldn't. I've just got no motivation and have tried hard to change habits but i feel myself slipping into what's comfortable...routines that got me here to begin with. And I feel like I COULD work harder but I'm just meh...

And my lower back and glutes are really hurting me, I don't know what I spasmed or pulled but it just makes me want to give up more, WTF I AM NOT THIS PERSON. I am a motivator and I am a hard worker...I guess I'm just asking for help or any kind of words of support and motivation.

If the pain continues, talk to your doctor to make sure you don't have an injury.

You sound depressed. I can totally relate, because I've had major depression all my life. Do you have anyone you can talk to? A counselor might be a help to you. I know mine has literally saved my life.

Maybe something to figure out is what the root of the problem is... that was my issue for the last few weeks. Just keep on it and remember that this is for the rest of our lives to be healthier and happier

You can keep it up.. do you have a list of the things that you are working for?? that's what keeps me going.
About the pain; if you think that it is abnormal and you have access to healthcare, you may want to go to the doctor. I delt with knee pain for 5-6months then finally went to see my doctor and my knee actually had a problem that is being fixed easily with physical therapy.
Good luck!

Hey I feel like that on one day or the other. I hope you didn't pull anything that can't repair on its on. Take some time & do light duty like walking & dancing. See how your body reacts to the rest? Heal first & then return to active duty. Again take your time & feel better! You are a motivator! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon Blessings emoticon Dee

Ease back a little but hang in there. Don't quit. SP is a wonderful help. Give yourself a lot of time.

Everything we do fitness-wise is a notch in the belt. Baby steps, we don't have to run a marathon. Back pain can be a pain in the butt [forgive the pun], but try to train around it. Training in water can be very beneficial, but sometimes it's better not to make plans and just go with your body. Train according to how you feel, if that makes sense. Remember, this too shall pass.
Best of luck, keep it up.

YOU CAN DO IT!!! I feel your pain ( I have major back problems) but that doesn't mean we give up. Try to make some mini goals for the week and don't try to over do it. Its the small things we can do to change our lifestyle. Everyday is a new day! emoticon emoticon

Just keep going, one minute at a time if you need to, its all about the overall picture not instant pleasure.i know what you mean about the meh feeling , my golden rule is fake it till you make it even if you can only fake it for 2 min at least thats 2 min done already and you have something to feel good about and build on .Best of luck
