I'm on "stay"-cation this week. (For those of you that have never heard that term, it means that you are on vacation but you stay home and do things that need to be done around your house.) This week I am cleaning and organizing for the holidays. I'm a packrat so it's a daunting task! In addition, I have my own in home business and it's switching from spring/summer to fall/winter merchandise. I have stuff all over the place!

So, I'm getting a lot done, but there's a lot to do too! And it's only monday so I have all week to procrastinate and not get anything done! The other problem with a staycation is that I'm home. I am around my kitchen all day long... some days that would be a challenge. Ironically, today, I didn't eat all of my calories for the day. It made me mad because I realized at 10pm that I was hungry (and I'm not eating after 9pm). So I ended up eating a yogurt and a kiwi since I was hungry and under my calorie intake by about 500 calories! Tomorrow I will have to concentrate on eating more (I missed my snacks today).

Speaking of food, my recipe for the week is Honey Glazed Pork Chops (from SP Recipes). It is more like a honey mustard glaze. It's really good. I would give it 5 stars. It has ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg in it so it's really "fall" tasting. I would love it with some sweet potatoes and stewed apples. Today I had it with couscous and broccoli with cheese. My sister came over for dinner and she liked it too.

remember to eat all your calories because your body might see it as starvation and you won't lose weight. Your body needs fuel so don't deprive yourself.

Your recipe sounds good! What you had for a snack at 10p.m. was
healthy. I think you are doing GREAT!

You can make me dinner again any time! Yum! I had some of that cream of wheat last night as a snack (had half of it made with water). Tasted a little strange, you were right. Its ok to eat after 9 if you need to. Just eat only if you have to, not just because you want to snack!
