I am practicing "calorie banking" for the meals I know I will be eating.

I am hoping to stay around 120 for the entire month and we're starting this Thursday with a Birthday Lunch out with family. Ray's oldest sister will be 92!!

I am not planning on many desserts for Thanksgiving, but we are having Fried Turkey and I will indulge in the skin!

    Oh yum!!! Enjoy. I plan on just watching what I eat through the holidays. I'm sure I will indulge here and there but the other days I will be eating lighter and very healthy. I'm sure I'll pick up a pound or two but I get on the scale every couple of days and hopefully that will keep me in line.

    I bet fried turkey is delish but I always wonder if people pay more for the oil than the bird!?

    DH has been threatening to fry a turkey for T-Day. I would actually like to try it. He already brines it before roasting it, and I think it makes a difference.

GONE2BEACH101 11/2/2009 3:07PM will just be the 3 of us and I have control of the foods and baking!! I can do 'low cal/low fat and we can spread the treats out over a few days instead of just on Thanksgiving Day....Honestly, it is my very favorite holiday!!

    Great goals Linda!!! I'm trying to lose up until the holidays and then if I maintain during the holidays, I'll be happy. I'm going to practice "tasting" instead of all out "inhaling" food!! LOL I want to keep reminding myself that these are not my LAST meals.
