I did my weigh in today after being out of town for half of the week on business, and to my surprise, I had lost 2 lb. I confess that I did not eat nearly as healthy as I would have had I been home, but I did make it a point to eat as much of the healthier foods as I could and less of the not so healthy foods.
On the good side of being gone, I will as often as possible take the stairs. I was on the 16th floor this trip and the door to the stairs was directly across from my room; much to convenient to avoid and one night I danced alternating with three ladies for three hours. One of the ladies asked me the next day during a break between meetings how it was that I could have danced the way that I did and as much as I did and still be up early and bright and chipper the next day when she was dragging. I just chuckled and told her it was experience, since I am at least 10 years their senior. I suppose that I was able burn more than I took in to account for the 2 lb. lost.
I still have 10 lb. that I want to loose, but being fit goes along way toward helping to loose that weight. Keep on, keeping on!
