I belong to the 1 Day Challenge team. Our challenge for today was to review our October fitness minutes and set a goal for November. This sent me on a hunt to figure out what my minutes had been.
On the My Tools tab you can select reports. Scroll down and find the report that is called Stay on Track Calendar. I printed mine out for October. Each day shows you whether or not you stayed in your calorie range, what your fitness and spark points totals were, and what your weight was if you weighed in. This gave me a great overview of how I had done for the month. Now I see the importance of weighing in the first day of the month and the last day.
I lost just under 5 lbs for the month. I stayed on track in a lot of areas but fell short in a few others. I am setting a goal of 1,700 fitness minutes for the month of October. I registered that on my team challenge so others can help keep me accountable.
I am increasing my fruit/veggie count from the bare minimum of 5 a day and am going to aim for 7 a day for this month. I'm also going to hit 9 glasses of water a day instead of 8.
My goal for weight is to lose 1 lb a week which is consistently the path my body seems comfortable on. I'm hosting Thanksgiving so I will be making some healthy options in addition to all the bad ones that will be brought. I am going to make it through that week without sabotaging myself.
This weekend I'm working on a motivational poster that I'm going to keep in my bathroom to remind me of what my goals are for the month.
I am currently 204.8 and want to get below 200 as my next short term goal. I want to start 2010 out having lost 60 lbs from 2009.
Who is with me?
