My ankle / alleged plantar fasciitis seems to be getting worse, not better, so I've decided to take a week off from working out. Since I don't know for sure what it is, I don't want to risk making it worse with biking. I might try pullups and situps - those don't use feet, right? LOL.
I'm supposed to have dinner with a friend who runs 30+ miles a week. He knows my ankle is off, he knows I'm trying to watch my weight, but we're going for basic Italian :( I just went through the whole menu. Their specialty seems to be risottos - they have four on the menu - but none sounds thrilling. Also, it's already been a very carb-heavy day: half a bagel for breakfast, sushi for lunch. *sighs*
I usually eat my dinner earlier in the evening, around 5pm. I'm thinking of just eating the food I have in the fridge at work, maybe a little earlier than usual, and just having a salad when he and I dine. I feel bad doing that - it looks so rude - but I just don't want to compound the day's poor choices with dinner. And, maybe he'll appreciate if I'm not too full to "exercise" later?
