Well, I fell off the exercise portion of my healthy lifestyle change..............I went on vacation last week to Cancun, Mexico. I worked over 50 hours the week before I left, so I could go on vacation and try and relax and enjoy myself. I exercised only once (officially) while on vacation, although we did do quite a lot of walking............I got back from vacation and worked another 50+ hours to catch up from being gone. So.........................yes
terday, I gave myself a good talking to about forgetting the excuses and getting back on the exercise bandwagon. I managed to drag myself out of bed this morning and walk on the treadmill. Tomorrow I will get up and do some circuit training. Why do I know that I'll do it again tomorrow? Because I've done it before! I've hit my goal weight, I'm maintaining, or attempting to, and I know what it takes. I can now fail, mess up, fall off the wagon, but I no longer 'throw in the towel' and quit. I forgive myself and start taking the right steps to get back on my program and succeed. My favorite quote is 'Defeat is often temporary but giving up is permanent!' This was a temporary setback, not permanent and 'Energy and persistence conquer all things'. Today was the first step back to being on track! emoticon
