Hi.

So when I post this, I'm going to earn a new trophy for my points. I'm one point under right now, and the blog earns 3.

The whole points thing is weird. I get it that you earn points for educating yourself, or for encouraging others or seeking support.. Some of the stuff, like 'huddling' seems a little more ..hm.. what's the word.. artificial? Would anyone actually 'huddle' if it didn't earn points?

I dunno. On the one hand, getting close to another trophy is sort of a weird adrenaline rush. On the other hand, the whole points thing is clearly an artificial construct designed to increase traffic on the site. And of course the points being attached to educational and productive activities tends to shift the balance to the 'worthy' side of the scales. Funny.

Anyway, I got my workout in today. The game said it's increasing the intensity, and today was a 20 minute 'core' workout. I put 'core' in quotes because it seemed *very* heavy on the lunges and squats. That's OK, though. I was sweating buckets (in part because the house is unbelievably hot today).

I am wondering if I need to eat my breakfast before working out. Today I started getting a little shaky afterward. Nothing real bad, but I could feel the blood draining away from my face as I was pouring the milk on my cereal.

My weigh in was good, I broke 168 for the first time in a long time. Only by .2 lbs, but it was lower than I'd been before the saltmonster got me at the mexican restaurant. :)

This afternoon I've been very thirsty, and I needed a nap after lunch, so I took one while the kids were down for theirs. It felt good, but I need to hurry up on the laundry now to compensate.

    Hey girl! You got your workout in. Awesome! Points? I love them. I only do the ones that count, otherwise I feel like I'm cheating. And I don't like that feeling. I don't huddle. I also don't care for the "pre-order and get 1000 points". Again, I like the points and getting my trophy, but have to go legit.

When I do eat before a workout, I go light. Maybe a piece of fruit, or a smoothie ( I love making those). And then when I finish my workout, I eat some protein.

By the way, I was feeling really lazy today. But, I thought of you and jumped on that treadmill!
