Get Serious Goals/Week 1

Ok, just finished a SF Jello Cinnamon Roll pudding-can we say YUM?!?! Did just the right trick. While eating it, I was reading a Spark Friend's blog about setting goals. She did it & I decided that I need to do the same. I want to stay focused as well as accountable to my Spark buddies!

So here we go:

*Daily drink a minimum of 8 glasses of water.
*Do Biggest Loser Workout 5x's a week-alternating one day with Low Intensity and the other with Strength & Sculpt.
*Walk the treadmill & do the eliptical on Friday & Saturday.
*Eat 4 f/v a day.
*Be mindful of what I am placing in my mouth along
*Assess if I'm truly hungry or just bored, emotional, whatever before trying to eat.

I think this is a good starting place. Maybe next week I'll assess my fitness minutes.

    Thanks for the inspiration! I just made a plan for the rest of the day, I've picked out a few meals for the upcoming week, and I've started my shopping list. PLAN and PREPARE is posted on my fridge. So far it's been one OP day!

    I like these! emoticon I would like to see you maybe bump those fruits and veggies up to 7 to 9 the next time you reset your goals. The US Dept. of Agriculture is considering upping them to 9 as the minimum. 1/2 cup of a cooked veggie = 1 veggie.

    Good for you for setting goals. If you find in a week, you were overwhelmed, don't worry about it. Personally, I am able to only set 2-3 goals each week. If you struggle, don't give up. Just scale back your goals for next week. You can do this. You will be on the road to your goal weight soon

    Alright my friend, these are some solid goals and very reasonable. Now, let's DO IT! I am so proud of you and I am sitting here thinking... GO GO GO! I am inspired to go do some more exercising myself and I just got home from the Y. LOL Love ya, Dawn
