Well, my life has been on a different track for the last few weeks. After my daughter's difficult childbirth experience, she needed help after DH went back to work. I went willingly to help my daughter care for the baby and to assist her as needed.

I've been driving more than usual...45-50 min each way. I am getting home much later than usual...I am usually home by 3:30 and am not leaving DD's till her DH gets home. Since MY DH started a new job two weeks ago...WE are up much earlier in the mornings.

The results of all this has been my getting behinder and behinder in MY usual home care, shopping, cooking etc .

This weekend, DH is fighting a cold and the weather was rather raw yesterday...so we mostly stayed home and in. I got SO much done!

Today, crisp and clear weather lent itself well to my floor cleaning project. I do a MAJOR floor cleaning of my "dining" room before I haul in plants for the winter season. It is the only room with enough light. Most of the plants love it. It looks like a jungle in there when we finally bring in everything we can fit.

Doing the floor is a multi-step process...move furniture/plants/etc, scrub/wash section of floor; wait for it to dry. Repeat process. Anyway, I got the floor done, some windows washed as well and began moving plants...just a few since after tonight's frosty temps...the rest of the week is supposed to be more normal...warmer and nice.

There is still plenty to turn my hand to...but it will have to wait till I get to it.

Wow! That is so ambitious. It must look beautiful to bring the outdoors in. I have no gardening outlet at all where I live, so I envy you to have all those plants. The floor cleaning was a good workout too, so you got something else done at the same time!
