Smacked into reality!

I went to the gym with my friend last night. I did a mile & a half on the treadmill and 10 minutes on eliptical. I asked my friend to take my "before" pictures after we were done. OMG! Can't escape reality with these shots!

I've definitely taken a trip into reality. Sliding way back into my past. I can't deny when I see these pics.

The proof is in front of me and has definitely woken me up! There's NO running away from the truth. So I am posting them here on this blog as well as on my Spark page so I can KEEP IT REAL with myself! And stay in reality-not FANTASY! When I lost the weight I thought I was still 360 lbs. Now that I've started picking back up weight, I think I'm smaller-just like when I was 360!

Time to get real and get a grip. I HAVE TO GET SERIOUS AND DO THIS FOR ME! Or I won't have any clothes-I gave most of my 3x/4x clothes away and winter is approaching!

Sad news: When I ordered my DVDs from Amazpm. I had them sent to my Mom's as I live in an apartment. I also thought they were coming UPS. Well, they were shipped USPS and Mom stopped her mail as she's in France! emoticon BOOHOOO! So I will have to wait 2 more weeks for Jillian to kick my butt. However, this minor,and it IS minor, setback is NOT going to stop me from moving forward. Tonight I will go to the gym again. Tomorrow I will do one of my videos. I'm really going to step it up. I want to move forward-NOT BACKWARDS! And after going forward, I pray I will be looking like this: emoticon

    Great Job! I love the fact that you've posted your pictures sort of like they do on the Biggest Loser. I am very proud of you for getting serious and getting into the gym.     Remember you are not alone here! I think most of us have before photos that shocked us.
I posted my before photos as my way of being totally honest with myself. It's so easy to be in denial.

Bummer about the DVDs. I know you were looking forward to them.

Do you get Exercise TV on demand or FitTV? They have lots of workouts. There's also some on Exercise TV dot com.

    You might not like those pictures now but later on down the road you will learn to love them. It will show you just how far you have come and serve as a reminder should you feel the need to cheat. emoticon

    Good for you, YOU CAN DO THIS. Pictures show it all, I won't let anyone take pictures of me any more. You have encourage me to do the same thing. Good job on the treadmill, keep going to the gym and you will get the results you want.

Print one of these pictures and put in on the treadmill, it will help you keep going. Thanks for all your support that you have been giving me lately. emoticon emoticon emoticon

    Taking and posting before pics is a hard thing to do, but it does help to keep one focussed on the journey you say, going forward!!! You can do it!! It is such hard work, but stay focussed and you will be fine!

    You can do it! just try to do some classes that go at your own pace. Also there is a tv show called Inhale on DTV and I know it's on at 5 am here but it's a good workout. If you don't have videos FitTv is a great channel to use if you cant make it the gym. I dvr a lot of the shows.
