Week 28/29 - a little over 50 lbs... go me!! go me!!!!

Friday, October 09, 2009

I am still having a hard time with this. Weighing in today at 169 .,....52 lbs gone from my body!!!!!!! I can put on a size 12 easy as a matter of fact I even went as far as to put on a size 10 ... yeah they were tight but I zipped them and everything. I went to Old Navy and caught the 50% off clearance and I got some yoga pants for $4.00 ( and a lot more). I got them in a extra large since that was all they had... big mistake I had to keep pulling them up during my entire workout... It was really funny when I was doing my crunches on the ball...every time I would look down I would see my non matching underwear showing again. I hope they shrink when I wash them. I also ordered a 1x costume online.... well it came today and it is too big... I mean even on the last belt loop it was loose. So maybe I need to accept the fact that I am not the size I used to be. I think this could be a good thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm just about where you are. It's taken me a little longer though, about a year to lose 60 pounds, but it does feel great. I also had just bought tank tops from Costco in extra large and had to take to back because I only wear a large. emoticon

Way to go! I think we are in the same boat--I've lost about 50 pounds since my heaviest and 16's now make me look HORRIBLE! I always tend to go towards them when shopping because I still don't believe that 14's or 12's will fit!

Hey--at least it's not the other way around and you think your a size 12 and you're not......NEVER AGAIN. Done!

    Keep up your great work!!!
