Need sun!

Friday, October 09, 2009

This cold, dreary, rainy weather is getting to me! I need some sun. I'm starting to feel depressed and without any motivation. I can handle the cold but boy do I NEED some sun! I hope some arrives soon before I lose my mind. On a lighter note yesterday was oldest grandsons 5th birthday. Party is tonight and I can hardly wait! I love his enthusiasm and zest for life and I need a dose! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

    Shoapie,
I'm wishing you some sunshine, too! ( emoticon )

And have a wonderful time celebrating your grandson's birthday. I love that we have generations to interact with - my children are only 10 and 12 - but they and the many differently aged kids at their school just make the world such a terrific place to be in.

I too need to sunlight. I am dreading when we turn the clocks back in November. I hate it to get dark at 5 p.m.

Being just a little but not much south of you I can't say it is any warmer here. I am tired of the rain too. Frost warnings for tonight. But let's not let it get us down and go out there and kick some butt. emoticon Don't do it at the party tonight though. emoticon

Have a good time at party. One of those lights might be a good investment.

Some people find that the full-spectrum lights that you can buy (they're pretty reasonably priced now) work miracles! I have one on the top of my desk shining down onto my work area, and it's on any time I'm sitting at my computer or working on my course. I think it helps me. (I don't do well with the cold, dark, short days either.)
