Tip of the Day - Remember what you did wrong and what you did right

Now that summer is over take a moment to think about some of the things that weren’t the best when it comes to your weight loss plan. No, this isn’t “beat yourself up” time, it’s simply a time to reflect.

Maybe you decided to take the summer off and kind of let yourself go. Perhaps you put your exercise routine on hold and you’re low on energy. While you shouldn’t dwell on these things, you should be mindful of them. Obviously, you can’t change what’s already happened, but you can look to it for guidance in the future.

Use both your successes and failures to build on success today and tomorrow. True, it probably feels better to build on the things you’ve done right…but the importance of learning from your mistakes should never be undervalued.
