I'm feeling much better today! I had a sore throat for the past two days and I was worried it would be mono or strep (it was so bad!!) I was down for the count. By the time I got home from work on Monday my throat was on fire, and I was feeling that "icky bacterial oh god i feel a cold coming on, i'm so sneezy" feeling in my head was exploding, so I nixed the TJ with Gary. I spent the afternoon yesterday shored up on the couch (except for a brisk 2 mile walk with my dog... I couldnt stand being down for the count anymore. )with any hot tea I could find, a glass of orange juice, and tons of Vitamin C and Echinacea supplements. this morning, I'm almost 100% better-- I'm going to get back into the swing of things and do TJ when I get home later today.
I made a tracking sheet for the next few months, until the end of the year... every week and a half or two weeks i'll weigh myself and measure myself to see how well i'm doing. I would really like to drop about 30 pounds by the end of the year and I think I can do it. I weighed myself today and (i'd dropped 6 lbs last week) and i've only gained two back from the chicken tenders and icecream on sunday, and all the tea and caffeine i've been consuming lately-- it dehydrates me so bad! I'll really focus on taking in a lot of water this week, and by saturday I hope to be down to 249 again.
