It Was Sooo Good! (& What I Ate Today)

Geezy petez. I kind of think that one thing that is really working for me (besides blogging everything that I eat) is trying all of these new things whether it be fitness equipment, a new fitness DVD, an article or even food. I'm going to make losing weight fun and interesting and I hope that you'll come along with me on my journey. We can do this! Who says that losing weight has to be difficult?

Yesterday, I was getting a few staple items in the grocery store and I wanted some ice-cream! Since I'm on WW, I naturally migrated in that section of the freezer aisle. Well, of course I thought that the prices were too high, so I decided to look around. I had heard of Skinny Cow ice-cream, so I wanted to check out the label. My personal favorite ice-cream is peanut butter. Although that would have been nice, I didn't expect to find it. Whoa! I found it in an ice-cream sandwich! Then, I had a slight problem: I didn't have my WW point calculator on me. So, I figured that I would have to check out the label and compare it w/ WW and try to gauge the points. Well, I didn't have to! Skinny Cow had it on the label! Woo Hoo! This ice-cream sandwich was decadent! I think the only problem that anyone would have is trying not to eat TWO! LOL! I was actually satisfied and couldn't believe how absolutely delicious that peanut butter swirled w/ chocolate ice-cream sandwich was to me! You have to try these things! There are quite a few of different flavors!

2 tacos on green lettuce w/ taco sauce & fat free cheese-2 pts

    Sounds yummy, thanks for sharing your find. Way to go on the tracking you seem to have it down pat. I like the idea of tacos in lettuce leaves. I may have to steal that idea!

    wow! way to go on keeping this streak going. I agree, you gotta keep this thing fun for you. That's the only way you'll survive in the long run. My fun thing tonight was to cook ratatouille. i loved the movie and the dish sounded pretty good. I'm not sure I made an edible version of it but it was good enough that I'll have the left overs tomorrow =)

BTW, I keep reading about skinny cow. I need to try these. I love ice cream sandos!

    Awesome selections. I too eat Skinny Cow. I eat the "Truffels" ice cream. Like a paddlepop but chocolatie and creamy. It is 2 points. Love SC's

    Love Skinny Cows!!! I know that they post the points, but you should still calculate at home. Also, (don't want to be a downer) sometimes having two isn't double the points. Example, two 1 point items may end up 3 points not 2!!! But if you do have 2, enjoy it and go for a walk and burn it off!!!

    I am on WW also. I find on most foods 50 cals are one point unless high in fiber.

    I'm definitely with you when it comes to making this an interesting journey. That's the reason I started the Zumba class. When things are different and interesting I want to keep doing it. Isn't Skinny Cow great! I LOVE them! My favorites are the mini fudge bars. I buy them all the time! Have a great day!
