I don't deserve my sparkpoints

Tuesday, October 06, 2009

At what point do you draw the line about Sparkpoints. I have been a member of this site for 2 1/2 years and this site is so awesome. But I have to wonder all, those days I logged in, and crashed my lifestyle, didn't workout, didn't actually "read" the articles, do I deserve those points. For example, summer caught up to me and I put on some weight. I have been trying hard to get it off, and it is working that direction. I almost feel cheated to myself, on those days I logged in and did NOTHING to aid my loss. But after doing the weight loss Sparkpeople plan, it is almost easy to get back on track. I know what to do, how to do it, but getting started is the kicker. But then I have to weigh the list...

Sparkpoints I actually earned vs. Sparkpoints I didn't.

My sparkpoints I have earned greatly outnumber those I did just got to get by. I am coming on my 40,000 point trophy. I may have fallen off the wagon more times than I can count, eaten too many cookies (or in my case cookie dough), spun the SP wheel with nothing more than knowing I logged in for the day, but My knowledge I have gained from this site is astounding! I know if I fall off again, all it takes is some will power to get back on, and every day is a new day!

I DESERVE MY 40,000 POINT TROPHY! I did it, I have fallen off, but I get right back on! I deserve my points. They are more worth my knowledge of nutrition, fitness and friendship than anything.

Here is to another 40,000!

You gave me a laugh today. I'm obsessed with collecting SparkPoints :) so I don't care whether I deserve them or not!!!!

Everyone has skimmed through the articles from time to time, as far as falling off the wagon I'm sure the numbers have been plenty. I TOO FELL OFF but LIKE YOU I GOT BACK ON!!! You can always go back to the articles that you skimmed over and read them at a later time~~~ All is not Lost~~~ You DESERVE your points~~~ emoticon Sue

Earned sparkpoints vs unearned sparkpoints. The world will not come to an end over this. heehee Every time you came on whether you read the articles or not you were planting the seeds of a healthy return when you were ready. Take the points and enjoy them or as I read above send them my way. I'm not too proud to accept them. lol

You deserve all of them, you did the work of looking up the articles that you skimed as you scrolled down to the get your spark points button. You know what you did and how to get back up on your feet and on the program.

You def deserve them! Logging in counts as not forgetting about your goal. We all have bad days and even bad "seasons", but not giving up is why you deserve them!

I don't know the moral ramifications of earning vs scamming Spark Points...but you sound like you're having fun. This quandary is probably not going to break the world, relax. (heh heh...and send those spark points you feel guilty about over my way...).

Spark Points is like a golf score. You are your own scorekeeper and your own referee. You know what you did and how seriously you did it and you have seen the consequences. Keep up the good work and let the bad days slide by. They are past, you cannot get them back.

    You absolutely DO deserve them!
It's not how many times you fall down that matter, its the fact that you can get yourself back up & going again!

Keep up the great work!
